g-ma: you have entirely too much hair, girlfriend. how many boxes of dye did you use?
me: just one
g-ma: i can tell. it was only enough for the bottom. it's brown at the top and blonde at the ends!
me: i did that on purpose. it's called 'ombre'
g-ma: ... ... (looks very confused) ... ombre?? that's spanish for bandit or outlaw or something!
me: no. it's like gradient.
g-ma: well i'm just gonna give you my belk card and you can do with it as you please. please do something with it!
me: did you switch your vote up too?
g-ma: no? what do you mean?
me: well chris just switched to romney-
g-ma: he's so backwards! he doesn't know his ass from a hole in the ground! always saying one thing then doing the other
me: well he said y'all had talked about it and you'd said romney wouldn't be so bad
g-ma: (looking extremely offended) I SAID NO SUCH THING! i said if he gets elected everyone will see he's full of shit then they'll hopefully wise up and make room for hilary! you just wait til your brother gets home! (walks out, comes back 5 mins later) now like i said, you feel free to get the works done at the salon. you're such a *good* girl!

- i’ve been working at the law firm a bit this month. which is very much appreciated and needed.
- i finally finished all of the stuff that i had to spray paint. then she said i’d have more later. FMI.
- this week is all about invitations though. yesterday/today i built the invite list (800+, shoot me) and looked up contacts. this afternoon i have to go start stuffing envelopes and maybe do some labels.
- i got a parking ticket when i went down there yesterday, but she’s paying it for me so all good.
- i still need a new windshield.
- had za’s pizzas the other day with far more people than i anticipated to, but it was a nice gathering. don’t ever eat the salmon pizza-UGH, capers!
- going to charlotte saturday with the dudes. ikea, batman in imax, and *fingers crossed* cheesecake factory!
- 16 days, 21 hours, 38 minutes until i graduate.

blue waffle night was a success! also, james celebrates wins by dancing.
items of the day: my pretty sandy tassel & glenn surprised me with shaun white gum (he was so excited about it, i had to pretend i’d never had it before. so thoughtful that glenn!)
a few words
- i’ve been a somewhat busy bee lately. especially today. but it’s better that way.
- i messed my left wrist up yesterday babysitting. a pillow flew out from under me whilst playing lava lake. burned in lava and hurt my wrist, insult to injury.
my cell phone’s still working even though it was supposed to be cut off on the 10th. not complaining.- i bought my tassel for graduation today; it’s champagne, not “light brown” like i was told- BIG difference. pleased.
- USC gets to defend our b2b national baseball titles next week. stoked on it! i’d like another parade/title, fa sho!
- ummmm i guess that’s all. well this was pointless :-/ gnf.

snap, snap, recap.
i had my last ever class in a college classroom (assuming i never go back to get my masters/ doctorate) yesterday. it lasted about 5 minutes- really the only way to go out.
i also spent 6 hours of the day before that working on the last real paper of my bachelor’s degree education. it was 40 pages, and better be fruitful of an “A”.
i ALSO went and met with my supervisor for my internship- she’s awesome, and not solely because her name is Jen. i got a nice little briefing on my budget, schedule, expectations, and that i’ll be reimbursed for gas and any other related expenses. we’re meeting with the PR girls that I’ll be working closely with (Flock and Rally if you’re familiar) next friday evening for drinks. i got offered another internship today, also unpaid- ya snooze, ya lose.
i spent most of today driving around lexington and west columbia applying for part-time jobs to pay for my internship and to just have some money. so we’ll see how that goes.
now i must study for the exam that i have at 9 AM tomorrow, and start the take-home exam that’s due by 5 tomorrow. kthxbye.

1. What did you do in 2010 that you’d never done before? some of them, yes. i did, regrettably, indulge in fast food though. i didn’t work out (more). i didn’t take a dance class.
so much! i started at USC, i snowboarded, i went somewhere not knowing anyone, i bought stuff that cost more than $100

3. Did anyone close to you give birth?
negative. another big chunk of my HS grad class did though, or had their 2nd baby and i’m just- shellshocked.

no! thank God.

none. steph and i will visit somewhere next year
6. What would you like to have in 2011 that you lacked in 2010?
a boyfriend, an internship, a 4.0 GPA, life scholarship
7. What date from 2010 will remain etched upon your memory, and why?
april 21st - hung out with heroes, hooked up with a married mexican, met lauren and april
8. What was your biggest achievement of the year?
i made a 3.8 in the spring- that was bitchin’. i bought a macbook pro- also cool.
9. What was your biggest failure?
passing out on the maine’s tour bus for 5 hours.
10. Did you suffer illness or injury?
you have NO idea! i feel like i’ve spent a lot of the last 3 years sick.
